COTTESLOE ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS
Saturday 10th November: 10am - 2pm
103A Broome Street, Cottesloe, 6011
The project was conceived as a reconfiguration of what was a poorly coordinated series of spaces within a turn of the century ‘maisonette’ dwelling. The scope for the project was contained only to the ground floor dwelling and rear garden, the upper floor having separate ownership. Interventions were made to the existing fabric of the building, contemporary treatments were given to the space, whereas careful consideration was given to retention of traditional skirtings and cornices in areas that remained untouched to create a dialogue between old and new.
